Referred to below as "we" or "INTERMIRO".

What this service is — and is not

INTERMIRO is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or legal advice. We are not attorneys, solicitors or advocates in any jurisdiction, and no relationship of attorney and client is created by using this site or our services.

What we do is prepare and submit infringement claims through the reporting mechanisms operated by online platforms — Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, social networks and similar — and advise you practically on how those mechanisms work. For litigation, formal legal opinions, or anything requiring a licensed professional in your jurisdiction, you should instruct a qualified attorney there. We will say so when we think you have reached that point.

What you are responsible for

You confirm that you own, or are authorised to act for the owner of, the rights you ask us to enforce, and that the information and evidence you give us is accurate. Filings are made on the basis of what you tell us.

This matters more than it sounds. Platform complaint systems require the complainant to declare good faith, and in the United States a knowingly false takedown notice carries liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). We will not file a claim we believe to be unfounded, and we may end the engagement if we come to believe a claim is being used to harass a competitor rather than to protect a right.

What we do not promise

We cannot guarantee any platform's decision. Amazon, Etsy, Meta and the rest decide their own cases under their own rules. What we control is the quality of the filing, the choice of legal ground, and how persistently the matter is pursued — and that is what you are paying for.

Timeframes given on this site are typical, not guaranteed. A removal is not permanent: a determined infringer can return under a new account.

Fees and payment

Prices are published on this site and are charged per case as stated there. The initial assessment is free and creates no obligation. Refilings and escalation within a case are included in the fee. We do not charge a percentage of anything you recover and we do not require a retainer.

Because the outcome belongs to the platform and not to us, we do not offer a money-back guarantee on the outcome. If we take a fee and then conclude the case cannot properly be filed, we return it.

Confidentiality

What you tell us about your case stays between us. We do not publish client names, case details or examples without written permission. Note that platforms disclose the complainant's identity to the party being reported — that is part of how those systems work, and we will explain what it means in your case before filing.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the case concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales, or for decisions taken by a platform or by a third party. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the engagement

You may stop at any time. We may decline or discontinue work where a claim appears unfounded, where information given to us proves inaccurate, or where the matter needs a licensed professional we cannot lawfully be.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts of Niš have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your case is the one published when you engaged us.

How we handle your personal data is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.
